A balance between the abstract and the figurative. The structural geometric shapes have a light and feminine tone, evoking the concepts of fluidity and circularity which combined with the figurative elements, weave a narrative of the magic of horchata.

This piece highlights the value of the production process, thereby honouring its cultural legacy, its wealth of ingredients and raw materials and, above all, the knowledge accumulated over countless generations.

In the centre is the Yellow Trumpet ower (Costus spectabilis), one of Nigeria's national symbols, which, represents the country's beauty, uniqueness and prosperity.

Inspired by Ethiopia.

Ethiopia is not only known for being the birthplace of coffee, it is also a granary of humanity and where a lot of knowledge spread to the world.

In this piece, coffee and its artisanal process as well as the artefacts used in its preparation are honoured. The lines that leave the base of the pestle, at the centre of the illustration, represent cultural disunion and the importance of time in the gestation of everything that is produced. The sun appears as an element of orientation for travellers as well as one of the central symbols of Ethiopian culture.

Similar to Kunu Horchata, this piece highlights the concepts of fluidity, flavour and smoothness. The outer structure resembles the shape of a cocoa seed. In the centre, the cocoa fruit surrounded by branches represent the tree which produces the flavours and scent that make cocoa so distinctive. In the upper half, the seed has bloomed into a beautiful cocoa flower, with ornamental branches. The luminous rays above the flower pay homage to Côte d'Ivoire, known for its rich culture and its cocoa.
